Check your certificate. If it doesn't read WHMIS 2015 or if the date on it is before 2015 June 01, you will need to re-certify.
In June 2015 Canada officially incorporated the GHS (Globally Harmonized System) into the new HPR (Hazardous Products Regulations) and called it WHMIS 2015.
Since then Canada has been in a transition period, but the end of this period, when all levels - manufacturers, suppliers, shippers, employers, and employees must be WHMIS 2015 compliant is 2018 December 01.
All aspects of WHMIS - SDS (no more MSDS), labelling, signage - no longer uses the system you trained in prior to June 2015, so you will not only be uncertified, but also a potential danger to yourself and others.
